Update for A.TR Certificates
We have recently been advised by HM Revenue & Customs that with effect from 1st October 2007, the Customs Procedure Code's (CPC) will be changing.
If, when you complete your “Exporter Statement” you use CPC 100001, you will now need to amend this to 1000001.
Authorised Economic Operator (AEO System)
HM Revenue & Customs has now published the Application and Questionnaire for AEO Status, which can be accessed on the HMRC website www.hmrc.gov.uk Click on "Import & Export Forms" and scroll down to:
- C117 - Application for AEO Certificate
- C117 (Notes) - Explantory notes for AEO application
- C118 - AEO Questionnaire

We understand from HMRC that they will be providing an inter-active option on their website in mid-August 2007, which will make the procedure of applying and questionnaire completion easier and more user friendly.
