What is the SouthCoast International Trade Forum?

The Forum is a platform for discussion, networking and support on issues affecting global trade.
The Aims of the SCITF
To promote, enhance and stimulate trade, enabling companies on the South Coast of England to develop and increase the volume and efficiency of their import/export activity.
Benefits
· Regular meetings on topical subjects and networking opportunities
· Access to high quality speakers who are experts in their field of international trade
· Information and debate on the latest events affecting international trade
· Access to key international trade support personnel – chambers of commerce, business links, service providers and government bodies
Events
The SCITF run a minimum of 4 events a year, usually in the early evening but occasionally as breakfast meetings, at interesting locations in Southampton Winchester Fareham Portsmouth Bournemouth and Chichester and with guest speakers who are experts in their field. The events, with refreshments, are hosted by leading businesses in the area, and offer Exporters an ideal opportunity to network and to discuss topics and problems of common interest.
Each event is advertised by e-mail about 3-4 weeks in advance.
We try to make each event topical, so the subjects are usually decided nearer the time.
Forward Programme
This forward programme is provisional and may be changed, particularly if new issues come to the fore, or if existing issues take on increased importance.
