January 2005, the Chamber of Commerce welcomed its new Director General, Jimmy Chestnutt.

Jimmy had 5 sea commands in his 32 year career with the Royal Navy.

He is a familiar figure in Southampton, having spent the last 11 years with Associated British Ports, as the Harbour Master for Southampton.
